This Saturday September 24th will bring to a close the Berthoud Local Farmers Market’s 3rd Season – and we are going out with a bang in the form of the Farm Stand Band festival!
City Star Brewing’s Farm Stand Band is a celebration of a successful summer market in Fickel Park, Berthoud, Colorado. The free family friendly event revolves around performances with musical instruments that are crafted from non-traditional garden and farm themed produce and tools: carrot flutes, garden rake bass, pumpkin tuba, etc.
Did you make it to the market last weekend when we were practicing making instruments out of vegetables? So much fun was had that we can’t wait for this weekend’s wacky festivities!
We invite everyone to come and join us. Bring a vegetable or other farm/garden related instrument and join our Talent Show to strut your stuff! Or get in on the Relay Race. Listen to the music of The Prairie Scholars. Find out about the ““Chase The Music Project” Featuring The Potlikkers“. Bring your monster zucchini’s to the Berthoud Local booth to enter our Biggest Zucch Contest. And many other all day events including the antique tractor show, live music, food, and City Star Beer!
See Ya There! Market runs 9:00-1:00, with some vendors staying until 4:00. The festival runs 11:00-5:00.
