How did you decide to get into raising livestock?

We've always had a passion for livestock and living sustainably. As Colorado natives, we have seen a huge shift in agriculture and we are trying to keep it alive. We enjoy raising meat and produce for our family and as of recently, it's been rewarding to be able to share that with our community. Share what we do, share our love for the land and our animals.

How can consumers get your product?

We'll have more pork and poultry available through our website this summer! Beef and honey from our bees will be available next year.

Upcoming Events:

This summer we'll be hosting farm dinners right here on our property. We've been renovating the original feed Mill on the property which will be a quaint sitting area looking to the pastures and hills to the east. You can come enjoy a fresh meal of locally raised meats and produce, cooked by local chefs, between our 4 silos under twinkling lights. We are so excited to partner with others in ag locally to provide the best, local meats and produce and serve it to you in a beautiful, idyllic farm experience.

Favorite thing about farming/raising livestock:

We truly enjoy the never ending to-do list that keeps us outside on our land with our animals. We wouldn't have it any other way. The cherry on top is raising our daughter here and watching her joy for this lifestyle grow. She is learning resilience, a love for animals and the earth.

Favorite thing about Berthoud:

We love that Berthoud has a small town feel and in just a few minutes we can go from town to country. We love supporting the local shops in town and watching it grow!
