It is with great excitement I get to report that construction is starting in the new and improved Community Garden at Pioneer Park!
Now that summer has come to a close and fall is in the air, the Town is able to move forward with building the new beds and constructing a space that is more accessible for all. In the coming weeks, you will see wood and metal beds being built and irrigation being installed. We hope for this renovation to be complete by the end of October. Then our desire is to gather, celebrate and get some fall crops in our new soil before the weather turns!
Here's to fall, change, and new beginnings! And remember, gardening does not stop here. There are lots of things yet to do to prepare your garden for rest and renewal. So start planning... and let us know how we can help!
Lastly, a heartfelt thank you for the continued support from all the volunteers this summer that helped us continue our gardening adventures at Ivy Stockwell Elementary and the Berthoud Community Library. Both locations were a great success and I hope served the community well.
Warm regards from your local garden manager.

Ivy Stockwell Garden
While the Community Garden at Pioneer Park undergoes changes, we created other opportunities for community gardening around town this season. Our garden at Ivy Stockwell Elementary was a great success!
